Hello there! My name is Peggy. I’m a special little lady looking for someone to love and spoil me. I came into the shelter as a stray, with no idea where I was or why I was here. There were so many unfamiliar smells and sounds. When the staff saw me they could see I’d had a rough start. I was very dirty, and worst of all, I’m missing a foot! My doctor thinks it is either a deformity I was born with, or an old injury that had healed. Whatever the cause, it doesn’t slow me down! I bounce around the office going from person to person looking for cuddles! In fact, I’m so busy saying hello that it’s hard to sit still, even for pictures. Despite my new surroundings, I’ve been super friendly with all the people. And who could resist an adorable girl like me? I would do best as the only pet in the home. I like to hog all the attention. But who needs more when you’ve got me! All I need is someone to give me a fresh start with lots of belly rubs, treats, and a full tummy. If you can do that, we’ll be best friends forever! Peggy is a female Beagle mix, approximately 6 years old, up-to-date on vaccines, de-wormed, SNAP 4Dx tested, -x4, and will be spayed and microchipped before she goes home.
