Hey there! My name is Michael. I’m named after Michael Phelps because some nice people rescued me after I was found swimming in a river. After my Polar Puppy Plunge, I came to the shelter. It’s taken me a little time to get comfortable around all these strangers, but I’m starting to come out of my shell. I like the staff. My tail wags whenever someone stoops down to say hello. But it does take me some time to get to know new people. But once I get to know you, I’m your shadow. I would prefer a more quiet home without kids. I think a busy house might overwhelm me. I would love to find someone who likes a quiet, little lap dog. Someone who will give me plenty of love, treats, and a soft place to sleep. If that sounds like you, apply for me! Michael is a male Chihuahua mix, approximately 4-5 years old, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, SNAP 4Dx tested, -x4, neutered and microchipped.
