Hi there! My name is Lady. I’m an adorable little lady looking for my furever home. I can be a little shy when I first meet someone, especially in my kennel. But once you get me out, I’m a totally different dog. I will be in your lap, on your shoulders. I just want to be as close to you as I can. My favorite place to get scratched is my ears. I do seem to prefer women over men. Men make me nervous. It’s possible I was mistreated by a man at some point. Children would overwhelm me, too. I do like other dogs, though! In fact, Sam the Rottweiler is my best friend! I do pretty great with cats, too. Since coming to the shelter, I’ve gotten to enjoy some time in the office. It’s been really good for me. I visit with all the staff, and hang out with Sam. I just don’t like my kennel very much. It’s a little scary for me. But I bet once I’m in a home, my truly lovely personality will come out! Lady is a female Chiweenie, approximately 3 years old, up-to-date on vaccines, de-wormed, SNAP 4Dx tested, -x4, and will be spayed and microchipped before she goes home.
