Hey there! My name is Smudge, but the staff lovingly call me Smudgie. I came to the shelter after I lost my home due to a fire. I wasn’t feeling well when I first got here. I had an upper respiratory infection and I had some teeth that needed to come out. I had to be on medicine for awhile before I could have surgery to fix my teeth. Now I’m healing up nicely and I’m ready for the next chapter in my life. I’ve been super snuggly with the staff. Whenever someone opens my door, I climb up into their arms for cuddles. I even give hugs. Who wouldn’t want a sweet guy like me? Just look at how cute I am! Because I had bad teeth, my tongue sticks out sometimes. It’s kind of become my signature around here. You should apply for me so we can become the best of friends! I’ll be waiting for you!

**Please keep in mind, we do not do same-day adoptions. All meet and greets must be scheduled in advance with approved applications only. And you must apply for a specific animal**
