Our sweet Audrey had her mass removal and biopsy done last week. Sadly, we did not get the outcome we had hoped for. Her biopsy came back as a mammary Adenocarcinoma, which is a more aggressive form of cancer. It has a potential of reoccurring and can possibly spread to her lungs.
But for now she is doing great. We will just have to keep an eye on her for new growths and periodic chest x-rays.
We are looking for that special adopter who would be willing to give this girl the life that she deserves. She needs a home with a loving family and a nice big bed or couch to curl up on. We love her and dote on her here at LCHS, but she should not have to spend the rest of her days in a shelter.
