Hello there! My name is Tootsie. I came here as a stray. I had been running for awhile. When I was finally found, I was so scared and alone. And I was skin and bones. Some nice people rescued me and brought me to here. I was given a warm bed and a nice big bowl of food. While I was a little more comfortable, I was still very scared. I didn’t know anyone. There were so many strange sounds and smells. I was especially scared of men. The staff has been very patient with me. They’ve been giving me plenty of food to make sure I gain weight. And they’ve given me time to get adjusted. Now I look like a whole new dog! I’m getting much more comfortable with men. And I’m super friendly with people once I get to know you. I’ll be in your lap giving kisses, or rolling over for a belly rub. I’m not sure how I feel about other dogs, though. I probably didn’t get out much before. So I don’t know what to do when I see one. But if you don’t have any other pets and are looking for a cuddly lap dog, I’m your girl! So, what do you say? Apply for me and let’s get to know each other!
Tootsie is a female Boxer mix, approximately 4-5 years old, up-to-date on vaccines, de-wormed, SNAP 4Dx tested, -x3/Lyme+, and will be spayed and microchipped before she goes home.
