Hello there! My name is Nellie. I’m a super sweet and playful girl with a bit of a sad story. I came into the shelter absolutely covered in tar. It was so bad my doctor had to shave some of my fur. But after a couple baths and a shave, I’m starting to feel and look a lot better! In fact, I’m really starting to show my playful side! Say, do you like to play fetch? Do ya? Huh? Awesome! Me, too! I would love to chase a ball around the yard. Whenever you walk by my kennel, you’ll recognize me right away by my unique bark. The staff say I sound like I have the hiccups. It makes everyone laugh.
